US Army Medals and Patches
The 604th Engineers were part of the 6th Army V division of the US Army in WWI. They were part of the American Expeditionary Forces in France in the last years of WWI.
From the documents and photographs we are able to determine that the soldiers wore or would have been awarded the following medals and patches.
Victory 6A of V Corps 1st Army
Campigns: World War I (St.-Mihiel, Meuse-Argonne Lorraine 1918), World War II (Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes-Alsace, Central Europe).
Organized July 1918 in the Regular Army at Remiremont, France. The pentagon represents the number of the corps, while blue and white are the colors associated with corps' flags.
USA WW1 Victory Medal with clasp
WW1 was remembered by only one campaign medal in the US, taking the form of the medal common to all of the victorious allied nations.
It was awarded for honorable service for active duty at any time between 6 April 1917 and 11 November 1918. It was also awarded for service between 12 November 1918 and 5 August 1919, with the American Expeditionary Forces in European Russia, and was awarded to the American Expeditionary Forces in Siberia between 23 November 1918 and 1 April 1920.

Somme, Defensive (21 March - 6 April 1918);
Lys (9-27 April 1918);
Aisne (27 May - 5 June 1918);
Montdidier-Noyon (9 June - 13 June 1918);

Somme, Offensive
(8 August - 11 November 1918); =
Oise-Aisne (18 August - 11 November 1918);
Ypres-Lys (19 August - 11 November 1918);
St Mihiel (12-16 September 1918);
Meuse-Argonne (26 September - 11 November 1918);
Vittorio-Veneto (24 October - 4 November 1918)

Service clasps were awarded to personnel who served overseas in one of the following areas and were not entitled to a battle clasp:
England (6 April 1917 - 11 November 1918);
Siberia (any service in Siberia);
Italy (6 April 1917 - 11 November 1918);
Russia (any service in European Russia); and
France (6 April 1917 - 11 November 1918).
