It's always fun to connect with another descendant from the 604th Engineer US Army WW I

I am a teacher and wanting to find out more information about my 3x Great Uncle Roy Hall's service during WWI. I know he was in Company B of the 604th (you can see his name on the ship's list from 1919). His Form No. 152-AGO lists him as a Corporal and his transcript from record of service give the dates as 'Sailed from US September 1, 1918 and Arrived at port on return to US June 22, 1919'. I would very much like to incorporate some of Uncle Roy's service into my lessons on WWI as it always helps to have a human connection to past events in order to understand them better.

I was able to help her with some additional information for her unit on the 604th and she sent a great images of "Uncle Roy"

He was also a baseball player and boxer

This is his obit

Thanks Jodi!
